Handmade sculptural and functional works of art.
My work represents the process of making sense of what it means to be human in our natural elements: The interplay of how we feel and what we think and the struggle to have one voice emerge; a tension between finding a home in intuition, in organic making, and the quest for perfection; a constant pull to experience and merge with nature. I expect it to evolve. I like to touch and hold my pots and would like to think the viewer might do so and experience some of the process and energy that goes into them.
Anyway, whatever it is,
don’t be afraid.
Joy is not made to be a crumb.
